From modern and moody to classic and airy, my favorite home decor influencers bring a fresh flavor and inspiring perspective.

Maybe your guilty pleasure is a weekend-long Netflix bingefest. Or extra whipped cream on your Frapuccino. Can’t disagree! But for me it’s lying in bed at the end of an exhausting day and checking out what my favorite home decor influencers on Instagram are up to!

Okay I lied. It’s not just at night.

I’m guilty of checking out their latest content over coffee in the morning, while doing my makeup, feeding the puppy, folding laundry – I can’t help it! I’m addicted to beautiful photos of decorated homes, ya’ll.

And believe me, these gals (and guys) never disappoint. Sometimes they share a DIY project. Other days they take followers along on a shopping trip. And my personal favorite content is when these influencers reveal a perfectly decorated space in their home.

I like to follow a mixture of different decorating styles, even though my taste tends to trend (as you know) towards transitional.

Because home decor isn’t about staying inside a safely defined box. It’s okay to have fun mixing styles, as long as it’s tasteful of course! Learning about new and outdated decor trends is part of what being a decor lover is all about. I’m assuming if you’re here and still reading, you are also searching for something to inspire the decorator within.

Once you check out these favorite Instagram accounts and start following them, be sure to tell them The Styled Ivy sent you!

My 7 Favorite Home Decor Influencers to Follow Now

Randi Garrett Design – @randigarrettdesign

I like to call Randi the O.G. of decorating! She’s one of the first home decor influencers I started following and has remained a top favorite. Randi’s style is impeccably elegant and timeless. Not purely based on trend and always on personal taste. When you visit her feed, you’ll find bright, airy decor with touches of gold and stunning floral arrangements.

Randi and her family recently moved into a brand new custom home they like to call “The Wren” and it’s a showstopper! Every square inch from the door handles and toilet paper holders to a drool-worthy laundry space was meticulously chosen by her and her husband.

Her latest project was launching a coffee table style hardcover book called At Home. Cover to cover, the book is filled with gorgeous photography of her previous home throughout different seasons of the year. You won’t be disappointed and I can’t wait to grab my copy!

Rust and Trust – @rustandtrust

If you’re looking to achieve a rich vibe with moody tones and natural woods, this is your jam! I recently started following Thomas when I stumbled upon a holiday photo of his gorgeous Chicago apartment. He effortlessly draped evergreen garland across a sleek black media console and paired it with fur stockings and sleigh bells. I mean, it was perfection!

If Restoration Hardware, Arhaus, and West Elm had a baby, it would look like Thomas’s home. Aside from being a real sweetheart to his followers and speaking to them like dear old friends, Thomas offers honesty about his favorite and not-so favorite home decor retailers. I can’t wait to run into him on the streets of Chicago someday and pick his creative brain!

I dare you to go check out his Instagram feed and not immediately fall in love. Just try…

Tuxedo Farmhouse – @tuxedofarmhouse

I love tuning in to Sandra’s Instagram Stories to check out what she’s been up to at her beautifully decorated modern farmhouse. Her aesthetic is refreshing and calm. Her demeanor the same. She’s just the easiest person to listen to and learn from, guys!

Sandra’s Minnesota based home includes dark wide-plank flooring and the perfect balance of upholstered items paired with metal accents. Can we talk paint colors? She’s a master at choosing just the right shades of cool or calming grey. Sandra’s home will inspire, not overwhelm, all audiences from the seasoned home decorator to a first-time home buyer.

Citrine Living – @citrineliving

Have you ever looked at photos of someone’s home and thought, “goals!!” That was my first impression of Tamara’s blue and white styled abode. Whether you’re into those shades or not, you’ll fall in love with her refined style of timeless decor.

One of my favorite elements of Tamara’s style is her ability to incorporate patterns in a subtle way. You’ll find stripes with florals, all which compliment the overall look in a room – not compete. If you’re a sucker for stunning chandeliers and heavenly fluffy throw pillows, like I am, Tamara’s home will have your cup running over! And be sure not to miss her incomparable holiday decor.

Kim K Styled With Lace – @kimk.styledwithlace

I always look so forward to seeing Kim’s face pop up on my story bubbles. Her home is just stunning – or should I say home(S)? Not only do we get spoiled with a sneak peak into Kim’s darling Minnesota home, but she also shares design inspo from the family’s lake house. The views alone from this property are breathtaking, but wait until you see the vaulted beam ceiling and massive floor to ceiling windows in her family room. Total envy, guys!

The airy and cozy vibe of each space Kim designs is magazine cover worthy. Which is why she is recognized as a Better Homes and Garden Stylemaker. I hope you enjoy checking her homes out as much as I do!

Interiors By Debbi – @interiorsbydebbi

Maybe it’s the frigid midwest winter we’re currently having here, but when I see Debbi’s Floridian home, it makes me so happy! Her style is neutral but bold – refined but still exciting. Think Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn with touches of Target. Some of her favorite decor pieces I can’t wait to snag for my own home include black planters, olive branch stems, coffee table books, and her weathered grey entryway cabinet. Ooolala!

I really enjoy Debbi’s Instagram Reels, which make DIY decorating look easy. Even her personality is cool. I mean, you can’t NOT follow her.
